Help with Jezki

A quick guide to adding proof, checking suggestions, creating an accountant pack, and controlling local data.

What Jezki handles

Jezki collects private expense evidence that you choose to add: receipts, invoices, PDFs, camera captures, document scans, Photos items, shared files, and manual entries. It keeps the original evidence and creates possible records for review.

Use Home to add proof, Review to inspect suggestions, Records to find approved items, Exports to create a pack, and Privacy to inspect source state and local data controls.

Deleting local data

The Privacy tab can show local counts, create a data inventory export, and delete local records, candidates, source state, export metadata, preferences, and evidence files. Evidence may first move to pending purge so deletion remains explicit and understandable.

If you want a record of what exists before deleting, create a data inventory export first.

Gmail and source controls

Current builds use Gmail test mode only. Production Gmail remains unavailable until Google OAuth verification, any required security review, final privacy copy, and owner approval are complete.

A future verified inbox flow is intended to work like TripIt: with explicit permission, likely invoices can appear as suggestions in Review. Source access must stay optional, transparent, pausable, and disconnectable. Gmail findings are never silently filed records; they wait for your approval like every other source.

Exporting records

The Exports tab creates accountant-ready packs from records you have already reviewed and approved. A pack can contain a CSV of reviewed fields, a PDF summary, a manifest, and the selected evidence bundle.

Exports are user-initiated. Nothing leaves your device unless you create a pack and choose to share it.

What Jezki does not do

Jezki organises evidence and suggests review fields. It does not provide tax advice, validate records with tax authorities, decide what can be deducted, guarantee savings, or replace professional advice.
